Ice!

Molly had an exciting morning! She went outside to go potty, we have two sets of steps on the deck, she usually goes off on one side and comes up on the other side. When it is in the thirties and the deck is wet from rain it freezes with a sheet of black ice. Molly went down the deck just fine this morning, when she comes back to the deck she is always running and takes a flying leap up the steps missing the middle step, landing on the deck.

When she hit the deck, there was no stopping! Her feet hit that black ice and she slid on her side so fast across the deck. She stopped right at the steps on the other side. Ernie said he thought she was going to land in the grass just missing the steps! She got up and looked at daddy as if, what just happened to me! He picked her up and carried her in the house.
