Molly and I went for a walk tonight taking the same pathway we always take. The lady five houses down weeded her concrete laden flower garden. She has all kinds of concrete animals. Molly was caught off guard by one of the fairly larger animals, a medium to large sized bulldog! He was bigger than Molly!
Molly stopped dead in her tracks! First her body language said, it's not real, so she took two steps and then rapidly jerked around and froze to stare it down! She soon was doing a low growl which turned into a full blown barking attack! I had to carry her away from the yard! She wanted to stay and protect her turf!
On the way home we walked on the other side of the street and she stared at the the bulldog until I had passed it by one house length. She is going to have to make peace with that dog because I am not changing the direction I walk in the evening!
